Here I have mainly focused on games that are playable with the up-down-left-right directional buttons of the original PS1 controller, rather than the later analogue addition that came with the DualShock controller. There are great consoles with analogue sticks available but they tend to be more expensive and less portable than the analogue-less options out there.
